Miss Alana Elizabeth Schroeder presented herself on June 20, 2005 - 8:43 AM EDT.
She weighed in at 7lbs. and was 20" long.
I cant believe Alana will be four months old this week. She has blossomed
into a beautiful baby girl. She has a sweet easy going disposition. She loves to
stand, holds her head up high and of course smiles and coos at the world.

Here she is 25 days old. She is bright eyed and interested in the world
around her. We enjoyed a visit to a Chinese buffet. She passed on the Duck but
recommends the Mooshu Pork. She was disappointed as much as Mommy and Papa Stu
that the Vietnamese Restaurant was closed. Alana visited there many times before
she was born.
Here is Alana enjoying her first bath. It was a big hit. She was fascinated
with herself in the mirror.

Last Saturday was her first shopping trip with Granny and Mommy.
This is a big deal part of the many female rituals in all families. Of course,
Alana was dressed for the occasion wit he very finest pink sneakers.
At 10 days old she is a bundle of joy. Mommy and Daddy are holding their own.
They wonder what it's like to get a good nights rest. Perhaps when Alana goes
off to college.

Day two and all is well. Alana slept most of the day between mealtimes (She
enjoyed her first birthday cake presented by Papa Stu) and had a burst of
activity in the evening, showing Mommy and Daddy that all systems were working
quite well.

Sweet dreams little princess. You can see how tiny she is next to Mommy's
hand.

Daddy offers sage advice. "No country music and no car dates until you are
35.
Good luck Daddy.

Mommy and Daddy 30 minutes before Alana was born. Alana doing what babies do
best.
