Jeff and Carol enjoyed the beach, Susan and Sharon visited the outdoor pool while Joan and Stu did their water aerobics exercises in the indoor pool.<\/p>\n<p>As we gathered for a spontaneous pot luck supper, the group grew from about 8 to about 14 folks, but it seemed like dozens as we ate, talked, and ate some more. Delicious salad, watermelon, shrimp and rice, and made-by-Stu salmon and freshly baked whole wheat bread.<\/p>\n<p>A lovely meal.<\/p>\n<p>After dinner, Stu brought out Homer, his new drone. Homer followed his commands, until another Roamer took over command and ended up with Homer in his wife&#8217;s hair. Light overcast, warm but not hot, and a lovely beach with perfect sand to dig. Stu has played in the sand all his life, collecting his Father&#8217;s damaged golf balls and building sand castles to roll them on.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-2' class='gallery galleryid-10451 a lovely few days of comradeship, our rally ended on two nice notes, Friday evening we celebrated Shabbat with the Myrtle Beach Temple Shalom at a congregational dinner and service. Saturday evening we ended with a nice pot luck supper and a Havdalah service led by the group President, Bob Lewis. Nice campground, semi-isolated sites with lots of trees and very quiet.<\/p>\n<h5>9\/15 &#8211; 1\/17 A nice time in Hanna Park and Lunch in Crescent Beach<\/h5>\n<p>We enjoyed 2 days in a very secluded site in the nearly empty Hanna Park south of Jacksonville. There was a curved moon shaped road that left A1A and rejoined the same road in about 2 blocks.
