Padre Island with Shirley\u2019s family. We enjoy cooking and enjoy eating and talking together. Shirley, Justin, Nicole and I each made a dinner. I enjoyed them all. The first diner was their Grandmother&#8217;s\u00a0 no cooking Lasagna.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone had two helpings and there was still enough for lunch the next day although they remember Grandmother&#8217;s as being more flavorful. As with fine wine, age improves taste.<\/p>\n<p>My favorite of the dinners was a two part effort, Justin with Nicole want fishing with Shirley with Rob while Nicole, Carl and I went to the beach. They caught a bunch of fish and brought them back for the waiting Nicole and Carl to make fresh tacos.\u00a0 Wow.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/index.php\/2021-7-5-14-mckinney-falls-austin-and-emma-long\/\">After enjoying Shirley&#8217;s family in South Padre Island, Stu met up with Miguel and Rebecca and their growing family at McKinney Falls State Park and on to Austin. Click Here to follow that adventure.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mid-July found us saying a temporary \u201cgoodbye\u201d to the Austin family. The trip was happy after a year of missing everyone for COVID. The grandchildren have grown up with Justin and Nicole in college and a relationship. Sierra has gone from a happy baby to a joyful young lady and Dylan greeted me for the first time with a big smile.
