Located in a working waterfront part of New Orleans, the approach roads are a bit discouraging, but the place is lovely. Large, flat, well lighted, guarded, it has a rolling lawn with child-oriented games and many picnic tables. At the front of the yard there is a performing stage, a covered area with tables for out of the sun eating, and the brewery.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/shearwater-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/20210715_untitled_5270-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-5432\" src=\"https:\/\/shearwater-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/20210715_untitled_5270-1024x356.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"660\" height=\"229\" srcset=\"https:\/\/shearwater-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/20210715_untitled_5270-1024x356.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/shearwater-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/20210715_untitled_5270-300x104.jpg 300w, https:\/\/shearwater-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/20210715_untitled_5270-1536x534.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/shearwater-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/20210715_untitled_5270-2048x713.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The brewery parking was crowded by the time I settled in for the night. There were 3 other travel rigs in the lot with sufficient space for thousands of cars. Apparently it fills up when there is name entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>My usual visit to New Orleans includes an extended walk around the French Quarter. This year, I happened on City Park. We returned to our campsite to start the Philadelphia part of the visit.<\/p>\n<p>Stu arrived first in Philadelphia and settled into the Philadelphia\/Chester KOA.\u00a0 The campground was a disappointing place with lots of flies and campsites that were impossibly hilly. The steak was grilled with onions and mushrooms and enough cheese stirred\u00a0 to take 3 years off his life expectancy.
