We traveled up and down the East Coast with a side adventure for Stu to Austin and other parts of Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Our adventure was divided into Legs so we could plan each section.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/index.php\/2021-summer-trip-to-dc-austin-and-beyond\/\">In Leg 1, please follow our adventures to Washington, DC as Joan and Stu explore the newly reopened Smithsonian Museums including the new Udvar-Hazy Air and Space and our always favorite, the Washington Zoo. Click Here for Leg 1.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/index.php\/2021-july-and-august-leg-2-northeast-to-philadelphia\/\">In Leg 2, Joan flew home while Stu continued to Texas to visit his family in Austin and South Padre Island. He then drove back to Philadelphia Airport to meet Joan. We continued to Charlotte and Greenville to visit Joan&#8217;s family including her Great Aunt who, at 100 years old, hosted a one-women art show and family dinner.
