Stu went to the Moose Lodge with Josephine (motor home) and Ellie (16′ motorboat). Joan stayed in Venetian Isles to get caught up after so much traveling. We met online every morning at 8am to do our Chair Yoga routine and catch up on the news. And we attended Shabbot services “together” (in person and online).

Stu was present at the Temple service (a lay service) and Joan was on zoom (and captured some photos). The congregation prepared a celebration for Stu’s birthday – and sang Happy Birthday in Hebrew. It was a touching moment.

On our way to Cincinnati – to visit Jessica, Joan’s half-sister. First stop – a quick overnight at Sharrah’s RV Park in Lake City, FL. Then onward to Georgia.
20260626 Lake Blackshear Resort, Cordele GA
Our second stop was at the Lake Blackshear Resort in the Georgia Veterans State Park. The campground was good – with a waterfront site, but Daphne’s Restaurant was disappointing. We had a wonderful dinner there last year, but not so good this year.

Third stop – Cedar Break RV Park in Calhoun GA. A visit from a cat made our day. So nice to have a cat take a liking to us at our campground.
Fourth stop – Hollow Mountain RV Campground – just a place to stop for the night.

Staying at the Morningstar Marina and RV Resort, right on the Ohio River, until July 2 . My family loved Lebanese food when we were children. And lots of great Lebanese food in Cincinnati.

We visited Jessica at her new apartment, and then Joan’s brother Billy met us (after driving to Cincinnati from Cleveland all morning) for lunch with Jessica at Dewey’s.
