Pecan Grove is a lovely, quiet, shaded and small campground walking distance from everything Austin.
It is near the Colorado River walking trailes and the attractions of Ladybird Lake.
It is a longer, but easy walk from the Texas Capital complex and associated parks.
Pecan Grove is on several bicycle trails through wooded Austin, terrific parks, and nice places to eat.
And, it is a short walk or bicycle ride from Sandy’s ice cream, a place that is good or better than Stuart’s favorite dairy queen.
