2021 Summer: Road Trip

Joan and Stu spent the dark days of the Florida Winter confined by COVID and planning a Summer road trip. We traveled up and down the East Coast with a side adventure for Stu to Austin and other parts of Texas.

Our adventure was divided into Legs so we could plan each section.

In Leg 1, please follow our adventures to Washington, DC as Joan and Stu explore the newly reopened Smithsonian Museums including the new Udvar-Hazy Air and Space and our always favorite, the Washington Zoo. Click Here for Leg 1.

In Leg 2, Joan flew home while Stu continued to Texas to visit his family in Austin and South Padre Island. He then drove back to Philadelphia Airport to meet Joan. Click Here for Leg 2.

In Leg 3, we visited Longwood Gardens and continued to New Jersey where we visited more of Stu’s Family in Margate and Joan’s Family in Long Beach Island. Click Here for Leg 3.

In Leg 4, we continued to Ardsley  NY to visit Joan’s youngest brother Billy and his family. We continued to Charlotte and Greenville to visit Joan’s family including her Great Aunt who, at 100 years old, hosted a one-women art show and family dinner. Click Here for Leg 4.
